| Software Process Model |
We follow standard, well-defined and proven models for the
software development, enhancement, porting and conversion to
ensure defect free, on time delivery of the projects. The
software process models followed by osprosys are:
|
V-Process model: for development and major enhancement
projects |
Maintenance process model: for maintenance projects |
Conversion process model: for porting and conversion
projects |
| |
Each model is indicative of the phases in which the
project is to be executed. |
| |
| The V-Process model: |
The V-Process model is applicable to projects related to
development and major enhancement of software. It consists
of the following phases. |
| Proposal |
| Project startup and functional specifications |
| Design and program specification |
| Coding and unit testing |
| Integration testing |
| System testing |
| Acceptance testing and project completion |
| |
| Maintenance process model: |
This model addresses all the projects related to
corrective and preventive maintenance of the software. Minor
enhancements that do not have any major design impacts are
also taken up during maintenance. It comprises of the
following phases: |
| Proposal |
| Project startup and maintenance planning
|
| Maintain |
| Regression test |
| Acceptance and project completion |
| |
| Conversion process model: |
This model applies to conversion and porting projects.
It comprises the following phases: |
| Proposal |
| Project startup and maintenance planning |
| Convert |
| Regression test |
| Acceptance and project completion |
